Terry Waters
President and CEO
Terry Waters is charged with managing Yankee Group's strategic direction and day-to-day operations, and he focuses specifically on helping clients address opportunities from the impact of global connectivity, what Yankee Group terms "Anywhere."
Waters brings to Yankee Group extensive leadership and expertise in growing information services businesses. Previously, he was president and CEO of Highline Financial, a banking information and financial analytics company. He also held leadership roles with research firm Gartner, Inc., including chief marketing officer with responsibility for the company's global marketing and corporate communications efforts, and president of its Executive Programs business unit. Before Gartner, Waters was chief operating officer for Screaming Media, a Web-based content aggregation, syndication and business services provider.
Waters holds a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
Jason Shore
Chief Operating Officer
Jason Shore is the chief operating officer of Yankee Group. Shore is responsible for the day-to-day global operations of Yankee Group and oversees the company's financial planning and analysis, information technology infrastructure, human resources, order fulfillment and business processes. Shore works closely with President and CEO Terry Waters to set company strategy and ensure operational excellence across the research, sales, events and publishing, client experience and corporate services teams.
Shore joined the organization in 2006 as chief financial officer, with a background in international corporate finance and operations and experience across marketing, sales, supply chain management as well as traditional finance functions.
Prior to Yankee Group, Shore was the co-CEO and CFO of Pharmedica Communications, a medical education company, and led its turnaround and sale in June 2006. Prior to Pharmedica, Shore served as CFO of startup company SBX Management, working to create a stock exchange for small businesses. The bulk of his extensive financial experience has been with various divisions of Unilever, N.V., in the U.S. and Israel.
Shore holds a B.A. degree in history and math from Colgate University and an M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Michigan.
Eugene Signorini
Senior Vice President, Research
Eugene Signorini is senior vice president of Yankee Group's Research team, with an expertise in business mobility. He helps businesses understand how mobile and wireless technologies will transform customer, partner and employee interactions to both drive revenue and reduce costs. Signorini's team focuses on all aspects of enterprise mobility, including mobile transactions, mobile payments, mobile applications, managed mobility and mobile device and operating system trends.
Signorini has spent 17 years in the wireless industry, joining Yankee Group from MCI WorldCom's wireless resale organization, which was previously Nationwide Cellular Service. During his tenure at MCI WorldCom, Signorini held key roles in operations, project management and business development. He was instrumental in launching Nationwide Cellular Service's New England fraud management group in 1995 in the midst of the industry-wide cellular clone fraud crisis. Upon MCI's acquisition of Nationwide, Signorini became the lead project manager for all large enterprise wireless implementations in the eastern U.S. After WorldCom acquired MCI, Signorini became New England manager for wireless indirect sales and distribution.
Signorini holds a B.A. degree in economics and English from Boston College and an M.B.A. degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
