Sandra Palumbo, research fellow, reports into Yankee Group's Research Council. Her research focuses on cloud computing, enterprise mobility and service provider strategies, with particular emphasis on software as a service (SaaS), mobile applications, Web portals, managed services, professional services and wholesale.
Prior to joining Yankee Group, Palumbo served as associate director at Capgemini, where she led the marketing strategy for the North American IT outsourcing business and the Capgemini Consulting subsidiary. Before that, she was director of global enterprise research at Yankee Group, with a focus on the SMB, mid-market and enterprise space addressing supply- and demand-side drivers, inhibitors and the strategic direction and growth of the managed services space. She also worked as a sales associate in the business development and strategic selling organizations at AT&T Solutions, the professional services arm of AT&T Corporation. During her time there, Palumbo worked in the networking operations and management organization, supporting global client support centers and transition teams as a process manager and developer for network activities associated with the monitoring, management and performance of a corporate network.
Palumbo holds a B.A. degree in computer science with a concentration in engineering from Lafayette College.
