What is the role of my account manager?
Your account manager keeps you abreast of relevant new tools and services that are applicable to your business needs. The account manager is available to answer any questions you may have regarding membership and deliverables, consulting needs and usage statistics.
What is the role of my client service specialist?
The role of your client service specialist is to ensure maximum use and value from your contracted relationship. The client service specialist's primary responsibilities include managing access to and promoting usage of the Web site, coordinating analyst interactions and proactively recommending must-read research. He or she will also suggest topics for usage of your interactive deliverables.
How do I contact my account manager or my client service specialist?
The name, e-mail and phone number of both your sales representative and your client service specialist appears in the blue menu on the left side of your user home page, under "My YG Contacts."

What is analyst inquiry session?
An analyst inquiry allows clients access to Yankee Group analysts for insight and advice or to request a research query. Inquiry requests are acknowledged within 24 hours with the lead analyst and expected delivery time is identified. Clients are encouraged to maintain ongoing conversations and frequent conference calls with analysts.
What is a market perspective?
A market perspective is a focused, one-hour phone/Web meeting that is customized and delivered by a Yankee Group analyst. Market perspectives are used specifically to educate clients on a specific topic or major theme prevalent in the market and aligned with Yankee Group's research agenda.
What is a strategy session?
A strategy session is an on-site, highly interactive, session that addresses the client's top strategic issues and challenges. The session includes Yankee Group's recommendations for capitalizing on opportunities created by the global connectivity revolution, a review of Yankee Group's latest research and data and a developed action plan for profiting on these opportunities. Strategy session planning begins at least six weeks in advance of the intended delivery date. These events can also be conducted via Web or teleconference when quick turnaround or accommodations for remote audiences are needed.
How do I use my interactive deliverables?
To use analyst inquiry, market perspectives or strategy sessions, first check with your internal account administrator to understand the parameters of your account. If interactive deliverables are available within your account, contact your client service specialist to request and schedule the interactive deliverable. The name, e-mail and phone number of your client service specialist appears in the blue menu on the left side of your user home page, under "My YG Contacts."
How do I schedule a briefing with an analyst?
To request and schedule a briefing, contact your client service specialist. The name, e-mail and phone number of your client service specialist appears in the blue menu on the left side of your user home page, under "My YG Contacts." All briefing requests are subject to qualification.
How do I arrange consulting work?
Yankee Group consulting offers work in market segmentation, education and strategizing, tailored and scaled to a client's specific needs. To request or coordinate any consulting work, e-mail consultingservices@yankeegroup.com or contact your account manager. The name, e-mail and phone number of your account manager appears in the blue menu on the left side of your user home page, under "My YG Contacts."

How do I save my searches? How do I register for alerts?
You can save your searches and set up your account to notify you via e-mail or through an RSS feed when a report, data module, blog, webinar or podcast is published in an area of predefined interest.
To save a search, log in with your username and password to the Yankee Group Web site, search for the topic of interest, then click "Save Search", located on the right side of the screen. You will then be prompted to choose whether you would like to receive e-mail alerts and/or RSS feeds on a daily or weekly basis. To manage your Saved Searches, click on 'My Saved Searches & Alerts' from the blue menu on left side of your user homepage.
To set up an alert, log in with your username and password to the Yankee Group Web site, search for the topic of interest, then click "Create Alerts," located on the right side of the screen. You will then be prompted to select how often you'd like to receive the alert. To manage your alerts, click on "My Saved Searches & Alerts" from the blue menu on left side of your user home page.

You can add a new user or modify the existing users for your account by simply clicking on "Create User" or "Manage Users" from the blue menu on the left side of your user home page, under "Admin Tools."
