Agatha Poon is a senior analyst in Yankee Group's Anywhere Enterprise research group. Poon focuses on the overall consulting and research activities with a particular focus on cloud computing, migration strategies and application networking. She closely follows the strategies and transformational models of leading telecom carriers, technology vendors and emerging service providers in the enterprise market.

Prior to joining Yankee Group, Poon worked as a research analyst in Frost & Sullivan's Telecommunications Service Group, where she primarily focused on data networking technologies and corporate solutions. Poon has been a market research professional for nine years. She represents Yankee Group in the media and has spoken at numerous professional gatherings and industry events, including PTC, CommunicAsia and Cloud Computing Expo.

Poon holds a B.A. degree and an M.B.A. degree in marketing from Ohio University, where she won a full scholarship for the M.B.A. program. In addition to her native Cantonese, Poon speaks English and Mandarin fluently.
