Yankee Group Continues to Broaden its Cloud Expertise
SaaS expert George Hamilton rejoins company as principal analyst.
Boston, MA Aug 16, 2010 - Yankee Group today announced that cloud computing expert George Hamilton has rejoined the firm as principal analyst and a key member of the Anywhere EnterpriseŽ team. In this role, Hamilton will leverage his more than 15 years of industry experience to augment Yankee Group?s research in the areas of software-, infrastructure- and platform-as-a-service technologies.
Hamilton comes to Yankee Group from VFA Inc., where he was director of product marketing for the firm?s SaaS-based facility self-assessment software. Prior to that, he managed product marketing and lead generation for LogMeIn?s SaaS-based remote support and connectivity software targeted at enterprise IT professionals. He was also a director in Yankee Group?s Enterprise Information Technology research group, and held positions at Genuity, Sybase and Computer Associates.
At Yankee Group, Hamilton will drive the firm?s research into cloud computing, focusing on service orchestration, SaaS, IaaS and PaaS enterprise offerings.
