Yankee Group Grows its Anywhere Enterprise Team

Networking and data expert Charles Carr joins the firm as a senior analyst.

Boston, MA Jul 26, 2010 - Yankee Group today announced that broadband and networking expert Charles Carr has joined the firm as a senior analyst and key member of the Anywhere Enterprise team. In this role, Carr will put his more than 15 years of industry forecasting experience to work with Yankee Group's data products, enhancing analysis of enterprise connectivity.

Carr comes to Yankee Group from Open Automation Strategies, Inc., where he was a principal consulting analyst responsible for telecom industry market research and consultancy for product development. Previously, Carr worked as a principal analyst at Gartner focused in public and enterprise network services and responsible for tracking and forecasting North America retail and wholesale data services markets. Prior to Gartner, Carr lent his expertise to Northern Business Information as a senior analyst in broadband markets.

At Yankee Group, Carr will drive the firm's data analysis and research of the next-generation technologies powering the Anywhere Enterprise. His expertise will strengthen the firm's focus on enterprise network services, including MPLS, IP VPN, VPLS, E-LINE, E-LAN and Metro Ethernet.
