Yankee Group Bolsters M-Commerce and M-Payments Expertise

Mobile commerce/security expert Nick Holland joins company as senior analyst.

Boston, MA Jun 1, 2010 - Yankee Group today announced that leading mobile commerce expert Nick Holland has joined the firm as a senior analyst and key member of the Anywhere Network® team. In this role, Holland will leverage his nearly 10 years of industry expertise to augment Yankee Group's research in the areas of mobile commerce, payments and security.

Most recently, Holland was senior analyst at Aite Group, where he specialized in security, mobile banking and alternative payments. Prior to Aite Group, he was a senior analyst with Pyramid Research, where he focused on mobile content technologies. He has also served as director of emerging technologies research at Mercator Advisory Group.

At Yankee Group, Holland will research the development of technologies enabling the advance of the Anywhere Network, including mobile transactions in both the digital and physical domains.
